Under the bonnet, this Celica has received a 3SGE BEAMS Blacktop imported from Japan, with the top end rebuilt less than 500 km ago, while the electronics have been upgraded to a Link G4 with an Altezza ECU.
A full AE86 rear suspension complete with a factory-fitted LSD has been installed, alongside an Altezza J160 6-speed gearbox, with a custom bolt-on gearbox cross member and a custom stainless steel exhaust system amongst the many upgrades.
Inside, the cockpit finish is simply breathtaking. The full retrim, undertaken just 2,000 kms ago, includes a new headlining and new carpet set, while the consoles and trims have been refurbished and refinished and the aircon renewed.
Outside, it’s not just the eye-catching red paintwork that’s devastating to the eye. Exterior upgrades include new front and rear screen OEM seals, new side mirrors, and new badges, while, prior to the respray, the sills, doors, and other panels were treated or renewed to ensure the car is fully rust-free. It’s also fully undersealed, while the engine bay has been detailed.
